Senior Vice President
Mr. Marc Grad has 25 years of operations executive and human capital experience in both public and private equity backed enterprises in a variety of industries including healthcare, hospitality, and high tech IT / telecommunications.
Mr. Grad was most recently Executive Vice President with Schumacher Clinical Partners (SCP), the largest privately held Emergency and Hospitalist medicine practice management company in the industry. While there, Mr. Grad served on the Senior Operations Team and oversaw integration activities for three merged legacy Emergency and Hospitalist medicine companies, Hospital Physician Partners, Schumacher Group, and ECI Healthcare Partners.
Prior to SCP, Mr. Grad was SVP-Human Resources and Administration for Hospital Physician Partners (HPP), one of the Nation’s largest physician practice management companies that was backed by Beecken Petty O’Keefe & Company. Mr. Grad joined HPP in 2012 and was responsible for all human resource functions, including top grading and selection of a new senior leadership team that ultimately led to the successful sale of HPP in 2015 to Schumacher Group.
Previously, Mr. Grad was Sr. Director at VITAS Healthcare Corporation. While there, Mr. Grad implemented programs to support the attraction and retention of 11,000 employees. Prior to VITAS, Mr. Grad was the Human Resources Officer for Kemper National Services (KNS), the occupational health and disability management services subsidiary of Kemper Insurance Company. Mr. Grad was integral in the divestiture of KNS from Kemper Insurance, and the successful acquisition of KNS by Platinum Equity.
Earlier, Mr. Grad spent nearly 13 years with Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. (NYSE: RCL) in a variety of human resources and business operations roles, during their exceptional high growth period. Mr. Grad played an active role in the successful acquisition of Admiral Cruises and successful merger of Celebrity Cruise Lines.
Mr. Grad obtained his BBA from Florida International University and Masters from Nova Southeastern University.
